Travel

How to get there – to the main congress in Vingsted:

By air:    
Billund Airport. You can fly directly to Billund Airport from many international airports -look here.
We will organise picking you up at the airport, so therefore please state your arrival time.

By train:
There are trains to Vejle Station from Copenhagen, Frederikshavn and Hamburg.
We will organise picking you up at Vejle Station, so therefore please state your arrival time.

By car:

Visa

Participants from some countries need a visa to enter Denmark. You can see which countries have a visa requirement and which are visa-free on the website New to Denmark.

If you need to apply for a visa, then you can follow the guide on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. We can write an invitation that you can use for the visa application, but only after you have registered for the congress and we have received the payment. If you cannot get a visa, then the registration fee will be reimbursed.
If you would like an invitation, then please use the contact form on the IFAJ 2020 website.

If you would like to participate in the post-congress tour to the Faroe Islands, then you must state in your visa application that the visa is also for the Faroe Islands. If you can travel to Denmark without a visa, then you can also travel to the Faroe Islands without a visa.
