Participants arrive in the course of the day
2.00-6.30 pm IFAJ Executive Meeting.
2.30 pm For non-executive members: Travel 2000 years back in time on a guided tour to re-constructed farms and houses from the Iron Age, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Duration 1 hour. N.B. There is only room for 35 participants.
7.00 pm Welcome dinner, including presentation of participants in the Master Class (MC) and Young Leaders (YL)

Thursday, 25 June

7.00-8.00 am Breakfast
8.00-9.30 am Introduction to Danish agriculture

Friday, 26. June

8.00 am-12.00 noon IFAJ Delegate Assembly and first ever IFAJ Foundation Annual General Meeting

12:45-2:15 pm Three concurrent theme meetings about journalism:

  • Freedom of the press – including for agricultural journalists
  • Constructive journalism
  • Cooperation across borders

2:30-6:00 pm Sponsor afternoon – booths, possibilities for interviews, and, from 4:00 pm, events organised by sponsors
6:30 pm Dinner with participation of the biggest sponsors.
During the dinner, the winners of the year’s contests will be announced.
The IFAJ band will play music and you can dance.

Sunday, 28 June

8:00-10:00 am Panel debate with international speakers and the Danish Minister for Food, Fisheries and Equal Opportunities Mogens Jensen
10:15-11:45 am Workshops
12:00 noon-5:00 pm Six bus tours.
